    FAQs

    How far is the beach & can I walk there?

    You can walk to Paia Bay beach. There are many children playing in the surf, submerged rocks and shore pound so foiling is not recommended from this beach. It is better to have a car or catch the morning ride to Kanaha Beach Park or Kahului Harbor and wait for the evening pickup. Ideally you should rent a car. There is also bus service for you but not your equipment. Transportation is provided with Camps, Private and Semi-Private Lessons.

    What does Paia offer?

    The Maui Foil House is in downtown Paia and short walk to 10+ bars & restaurants, organic deli and grocery store, boutiques, post office right next door to Story coffee shop. We are on call 24/7 for your needs. You will receive a text with late check in procedures if you are scheduled to arrive late.

    What time is check in/check out?

    Check in is available any time after 1pm. Check out time is 11am.

    Where do I pick up my keys?

    You can pick up your keys at the office on the premises.

    What time does your office open and close for checking in and checking out?

    The Maui Foil House welcome desk is staffed 9am to 6pm. If you arrive after hours, instructions are provided within an email you received at the time of booking. You will also receive a text with late check in procedures if you have not arrived by 6pm.

    What is included in the rate?

    Fully furnished rooms with made beds and bath towels, fully equipped kitchens, secure gear storage, parking, high-speed Wi-Fi internet, access at Malolo Hawaii Retail Shop fully stocked with Armstrong Foils equipment.

    What payment methods do you accept?

    Charges for all Maui Foil House properties will be processed by Malolo Hawaii LLC We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover.

    When do you charge for the reservation?

    Reservations will be charged in full at the time of booking.

    Do you charge tax on the reservations?

    4.71% tax is applied to all reservations.

    Do you include Travel Insurance on your bookings?

    Travel Insurance must be obtained by the traveller. Exclusions and limitations may apply. RentalGuardian is pleased to offer Travel Protection. Travel Protection is an important way to protect your vacation investment against unforeseen circumstances that may occur before or during your scheduled trip. If the insurance is waived, neither the owner nor Maui Foil House is liable for refunds. Contact us for more specific information regarding travel insurance.

    What is your cancellation policy?

    If you cancel on or before 60 days prior to arrival, we will refund 100% of your money minus the cancellation fee. If you cancel on or before 30 days prior to arrival, we will refund 50% of your money minus the cancellation fee. If you cancel 29 or fewer days prior to arrival, there will be no refund. Cancellation fee of $150 will be applied to refunded reservations.

    Do you allow pets?

    Dogs (max 2) are permitted in our studios with a non- refundable pet fee of $175 and a signed waiver.
